Because of its price-to-performance ratio, Poco’s new phone, the Poco X3 Pro, has been hailed as the real heir to the original Poco F1. And today is the official launch of the phone in Nepal (16th of May). It should be accessible before the end of the week. SPECIFICATION

Design

The Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro resembles the Poco X3 NFC in appearance. And some of you will despise it.

The layer behind the back cover has a huge ‘Poco’ logo printed on it. When you buy one of these, you can’t help but promote the company every time you set the phone down on a table.

The Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro’s rear is designed to resemble dual-finish strips of matte and glossy glass. It is, however, entirely made of plastic.

Xiaomi utilized glass on the back of the Poco X2 in 2020, however this phone and the Poco X3 NFC are mostly plastic. Apart from the screen cover and the top-most protective camera layer, there is no glass.

Display

This is a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The first, second, and third impressions are all outstanding.

The screen on the Poco X3 Pro is crisp, the colors are vibrant, and the relatively big size gives you the impression it was built for gaming, movies, and other content that the passionate Poco community would appreciate.

This is an LCD display. It doesn’t have perfect contrast, but even in a really dark space, we didn’t observe any increased blacks, at least with mixed material. If you were willing to spend a lot more, an OLED display would be preferable, since its fast-responding pixels would make better use of the 120Hz refresh rate.

Camera

There’s a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and two 2-megapixel macro and depth cameras. The stats don’t bother us. We’re used to seeing ‘filler’ cameras on low-cost phones.The Poco X3 Pro’s primary camera, on the other hand, performs substantially lower than some of the competition, including Xiaomi’s own Poco X3 NFC and Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Through the X3 Pro’s eyes, texture details that family members would sketch with astonishing clarity are obscured into mush. Mid-tone contrast is noticeably weaker, and it appears to employ more detail-erasing noise reduction.

Performance

It’s a mid-range processor with similar performance to the Snapdragon 855 Plus, which is used in phones like the Asus ROG Phone 2 and the OnePlus 7T.

They are, in fact, ancient phones from the year 2019. However, the older Snapdragon 8-series chip-sets are still more powerful than today’s Snapdragon 7-series chip sets.

At the time of writing, the Poco X3 Pro is the finest cheap Fortnite phone available. Aside from a few brief dips when loading new graphics, this phone clings to the maximum 30 frames per second like glue. It’s undoubtedly deserving of a shot at Epic Games’ 60fps option, which is available on select high-end phones.

The Snapdragon 860 has a storage capacity of 128GB or 256GB and a RAM capacity of 6GB or 8GB. Because the Poco X3 Pro in our review has 6GB of RAM, you should have a similar experience to us.

Battery

The Poco X3 Pro, like the Poco X3 NFC, features a 5160mAh battery. Even with a considerably more powerful processor, its endurance is outstanding.There are obvious gaming perks here, and we don’t believe many people should buy the Poco X3 Pro if they aren’t interested in gaming.

The charging speed is also adequate. The Poco X3 Pro includes a 33W charger that can charge the phone from zero to 59 percent in 30 minutes. Alternatively, you may get to 100% in 59 minutes.
