The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be released in June, which is a shocking early release considering the galaxy Z Fold 2 was only released in September 2020 and is a foldable phone. As a result, we’d treat this with caution, particularly since another leak implies a release in the second half of the year.

DESIGN
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to have the same book-style vertical fold as the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Z Fold 2, with the horizontal fold reserved for the Galaxy Z Flip series. We also expect the hinge to give several angles once more.
There have been rumors that the unit, like the Galaxy S21 Ultra, would be compatible with the S Pen. This could mean the S Pen will work if purchased separately, as with the Note, or it could simply mean the S Pen will work if purchased separately, as with the S21 Ultra Pen compatibility rumors surfaced before the Galaxy Z Fold 2 was announced, but it was thought that the folding display wouldn’t be able to withstand the stresses the stylus can impose, which Samsung seems to have overcome.
Before the Z Fold 2, there was talk of waterproofing, but it appears that the Z Fold 3 could get an IP ranking. It will receive an IP ranking, according to sources, but the level is undisclosed.
DISPLAY
As with previous versions, we expect the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 to have a big flexible display on the inside as well as an external display when folded. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a 7.6-inch main display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.2-inch exterior display.
The front of the phone has a punch hole camera, but there have been rumors that the Z Fold 3 would have an under-display camera, allowing for a wider external display than the Z Fold 2. The main display will be 7.55 inches rather than 7.59 inches, and the cover display will be 6.21 inches rather than 6.23 inches, according to reports.
HARDWARE
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be powered by flagship hardware. There have been no specific rumors about the Z Fold 3’s specifications, but it’s likely to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, with plenty of RAM – possibly at least 12GB – and at least 256GB of storage. Samsung may also use Exynos with AMD GPU, which the company is said to be developing.
BATTERY
The battery capacity is claimed to be marginally lower than that of the Galaxy Z Fold 2, but it is the same as that of the initial Fold at 4380mAh.
With the larger screen and 5G access, a larger battery, or at the very least quicker charging times than the Z Fold 2’s 25W limit, would be ideal.
CAMERA
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a dual punch hole front camera and a triple rear camera. A 12-megapixel main camera, 12-megapixel telephoto sensor, and 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera make up the rear camera. Each of the front cameras has a 10-megapixel sensor.
