ZTE Blade V30 Vita

A sneaky entry to the budget world!

Introduction

Did you notice? There’s a new budget phone in the market. Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation (ZTE) recently came up with the new Blade V30 Vita targeting economic users searching for affordable options.

Established in 1985, ZTE is the third-largest selling smartphone company in China. Although the company’s main focus is to manufacture telecommunication equipment, it has been quietly sneaking in some of the impressive budget smartphones in the market.

Back to ZTE Blade V30 Vita, it’s a mid-range smartphone that comes at a slightly lower price point than its competition. However, the smartphone does come with some key components that make it stand out from the rest. Let’s start with the design.

Display & Design

Right off the bat, you’ll see a large 6.82 inches IPS display of a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels. The device comes with a sleek finish with three colour options i.e. Grey, Green, and Gradient Blue. Now you won’t get a premium feel with the materials that have been used, but that’s not something an attractive case can’t cover.

ZTE Blade V30 Vita has got some resemblances to its bigger brother, ZTE Blade V30. It’s sort of a lite version of the Blade V30. The screen-to-body ratio could have been better with less bezels, however, the water drop notch helps utilise the maximum real estate on the device.

Camera

Boasting a triple setup camera, ZTE Blade V30 Vita comes with a 48 MP main camera that produces decent picture quality. Not to mention the setup looks modern and elegant. Unfortunately, you cannot record 1080px on 60fps, the ZTE Blade V30 Vita only supports up to 30fps FHD video recording. The 8MP front camera doesn’t look that bad as it gets the job done.

Performance and Memory

Talking about the performance, the ZTE Blade V30 Vita packs up enough power to handle casual operations. It comes with an Octa-core 1.6 GHz processor supported by 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. If you’re an avid gamer, you might face some frame drops. But for those who game in their spare time, the ZTE Blade V30 Vita has no problem.

Battery & Others

ZTE Blade V30 comes with a whopping 5,000 mAh Li-po battery with 18W fast-charging capability. If you noticed, ZTE has chosen Li-po i.e. Lithium Polymer as it is more environmentally friendly and safer for users. Furthermore, it has the standard side-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, and proximity sensor for an enhanced user experience.

Price of ZTE Blade V30 Vita

Since ZTE plans on re-entering the market, the price of the Blade V30 Vita is quite reasonable. Therefore, you’ll find it rather affordable as compared to its competition.

The ZTE Blade V30 price in Nepal is set at Rs.17,990 for a 4/64GB variant.

Gadget Guff’s Verdict

Since it’s a budget phone, take everything with a grain of salt. The ZTE Blade V30 has excellent offerings at a price that don’t hurt your wallet. Although there’s room for improvement, you’ll have a hard time getting your hands on a similar device at this price point.
