Despite the company’s difficulties as a result of the Entity list, Huawei released its new flagship lineup last month. The Mate 40 Pro lineup included three smartphones, all of which were fueled by the Kirin 9000 SoC, which was manufactured using TSMC’s 5nm process. DESIGN AND DISPLAY
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a 6.76-inch amoled display with a 2772 x 1344-pixel FHD+ resolution. On both sides of the phone, the Horizon display is curved at an angle of 88 degrees. The front-facing camera is housed in a pill-shaped cutout. The computer has a refresh rate of up to 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. The actual volume rocker is also back on the Mate 40 Pro, but users can still use it.
The camera configurations on the device’s back are the device’s key talking point. The quad-camera setup is now located around the circumference of the circular camera module known as Space Ring, according to the company. Mystic Silver, White, Black, and Olive Green are the four color choices for the device.
The Mate 40 Pro has a stereo speaker system that is one of the best ones in terms of design. So there’s no difference between a main speaker and an earpiece-based sidekick, you get two dedicated speakers, one on the bottom and one on the top. The Mate’s performance is also excellent.
Under the hood of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a Kirin 9000 processor. As a result, the Mate 40 series will be the first Android devices to use a 5nm process node. The new chipset from Huawei has a total of 15 billion transistors. The Cortex A77 core (@3.13GHz) is the primary core of the three-tier architecture.
The main camera on the Mate 40 Pro is now 50 megapixels, up from 40 megapixels on the Mate 40. The aperture of the main camera is f/1.9. The pixel size of the 1/1.28-inch sensor is 1.22 micron. An RYYB color filter and Octa PD Autofocus are used by the sensor. A 20MP ultra-wide lens with an aperture of f/1.8 is included.
The 12MP telephoto lens, which supports up to 5x optical zoom and 10x hybrid zoom, completes the camera setup. A laser sensor connects the three cameras on the Space Ring, allowing for quicker and more precise focus.

Wireless chargers are available for purchase separately. HUAWEI SuperCharge Wireless Charger Stand (Max 50 W) or HUAWEI SuperCharge Wireless Car Charger (Max 50 W) must be purchased and used with a dedicated HUAWEI 66 W Power Adapter to achieve a maximum charging rate of 50 W.
