PROS:

Video Quality

We can’t deny that gopro cameras are the best sport cam, so with the weight of just 118 gram you can attach it to anywhere literally anywhere you want, which will aid you to capture some of the different perspective shots that you cannot do with other DSLR or mirrorless cam’s. I have been using it since a year for moto shots and its hypersmooth feature is a game changer in stabilization tech in any device. If you have terrain roads or dirt roads the stabilization works perfectly. I mostly attached it to my helmet in the chin which captures amazing shots and when my handlebars are moving vigorously in offroad its stabilization is so smooth. While gopro has been talking a lot about its Hypersmooth feature it seems it is working really well.

Audio Quality

Another thing that has been improved a lot in Gopro Hero 7 is its microphone. The microphone captures really good sound making it an ideal start camera for many vlogging enthusiasts including me. Its tiny size and quality images makes it more comfortable vlogging around the cities where you get less noticed and cherry on top it captures 4K footage which can really work well in cinematic movements with its slow motion capabilities.

Image Quality

Gopro Hero 7 Balck has a 12MP sensor. On paper this seems a bit low but it can capture some amazing quality images with its super photo feature which combines photos from different exposure to ensure you get correctly exposed images with great dynamic range. With its wide lens you can take some pretty amazing shots with different perspectives of anything which you normally cannot get with your smartphone camera.

CONS:

Battery

While having this small camera with so many good features is really peer perfect, the thing that gets compromised with small size is its power. With just 1220 mAh battery the battery drains much faster while recording in an excessive heat environment. Capturing 4k video too sucks your battery power much but to the rescue, Hero 7 has an interchangeable battery system which you can swap with the powered one when you keep the drained battery in charge.

Verdict

Sport and action cam doesn’t suits for many people who don’t have such lifestyle but Go-pro Hero 7 Black being one of its kind, can be used by people like me who doesn’t have that sporty life but causal carry around or some touch in vlogging can find perfect pair for you deeds.
