APPLE IPHONE 13 RUMOURED TO FEATURE LARGER WIRELESS CHARGERS AND REVERSE CHARGING TECHNOLOGY

iPhone 13 rumour

According to a recent source, Apple may make the wireless charging coil on the iPhone 13 somewhat larger than the previous version. It’s also possible that the improved charger will be able to allow reverse wireless charging. According to the newest claim from MacRumours, the Cupertino-based company plans to produce a larger wireless charging coil on the back of the future iPhone series (Weinbach). This would also increase the amount of surface area available for wireless charging. According to prior rumors, the new iPhone 13 will also have stronger MagSafe magnets. This is understandable, and it could be the cause of the lament.

Larger Wireless Chargers

Furthermore, according to Weinbach, reverse wireless charging may be added in the next iPhone series. Users can use reverse charging technology to charge items that enable wireless charging from their iPhones. You may, for example, charge your AirPod by laying its audio devices on the back of a smartphone that supports reverse charging.

However, it is currently unknown whether the business intends to add this capability to its devices in the near future. While rumors have already circulated that the 2022 iPad Pro will include reverse wireless charging technology. On a large tablet like the iPad or MacBook, this technique appears to be more viable. However, we must wait for confirmation of this information.

These battery capacities are all higher than those of the iPhone 12 (albeit Apple does not provide official battery specs). However, because battery capacity and battery life are not synonymous, it’s likely that the iPhone 13’s larger battery will not result in greater battery life. All of this is contingent on the phone’s other enhancements and how effectively the OS optimizes for battery life. We can still be confident since its a rumour.

However, Apple’s premium phones’ batteries fall short when compared to those of other companies. Samsung’s Galaxy S21 phones, for example, have batteries that range from 4,000 to 5,000 mAh.

Release date

So far, there’s no official or unofficial news on when Apple’s next iPhone will be released. According to an April report, production of the iPhone’s new CPUs is ahead of schedule, bringing the iPhone 13 release date back on Apple’s pre-pandemic schedule. We can usually estimate when Apple’s iPhone events will occur with some accuracy and infer a release date based on that information.

However, due to production delays caused by the coronavirus epidemic, the Apple event in September 2020 was the first in eight years without an iPhone. However, Kuo predicts that Apple’s supply chain will be business as usual this year. If that’s the case, the iPhone 13 should be presented in September at a special event.

More Release Details

As previously reported by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 13 lineup would include four phones: the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. This year’s selection is identical to the four iPhone 12 models from the previous year. But that’s not all that hasn’t changed: the iPhone 13’s price and design are likely to be fairly familiar.

We’ve compiled these rumors, as well as everything else we’ve heard, below, including speculation about the iPhone 13’s release date (which is expected to be September), how the iPhone 13 might compare to the iPhone 12, and everything we know about the iPhone 13’s price, cameras, and other specifications. Before Apple introduces its new flagship, we have a few more months of conjecture.

Other specifications

According to a May MacRumors report, the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro models may be thicker than their iPhone 12 predecessors. Both new variants are projected to be 7.57mm thick, compared to 7.4mm for the iPhone 12 models. However, most people are unlikely to detect the change. Kuo also predicted in March that the two iPhone 13 Pro versions will feature LTPO technology in their panels for a 120Hz refresh rate, which has been mentioned in earlier reports. The number of frames per second that a phone screen can display is measured in hertz, which impacts how fast and smooth the screen seems when scrolling through apps and online pages.

While iPhones no longer have a headphone jack, some speculated that the rise of MagSafe accessories last year signaled the next iPhone would be portless. Except for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, Kuo forecasts that all iPhone 13 models will contain a Lightning port. The iPhone 13 could possibly come without any buttons, but this is more likely to happen in the future.
