They are now venturing into this internet business because they were unable to obtain a unified license to run mobile networks and basic telephony services.

At NRs 999 per month, CG Communications will offer a 120 Mbps ‘CGNET’ service. The consumer-centric service, according to CG Communications, will provide users with a unique experience.

COVERAGE AREA

CG Net service will be provided in the Kathmandu Valley’s three districts at first. Residents of Jawalakhel, Jhamsikhel, Bhanimandal, and Ekantakuna can use the service within 6 to 24 hours of submitting a request. Within a year, CGNET will be available in all sections of the valley. www.cgnet.com.np has further information about the expansion. They hoped to have CGNET operational across the country by the end of the year.

Customer support centers for CG Net will be placed in CG Digital’s branches in Jawalakhel, Kumaripati, Kirtipur, Nayabazar, and Minbhawan, as well as CGNET’s headquarters in Trade Tower, Thapathali. Customer support centers will be established in other parts of the Kathmandu Valley in conjunction with the network development.

UNIFIED LICENSE

For a long time, CG Telecom made every attempt to get a combined license to operate mobile and basic telephony services. They also stated that they had reached an agreement with Huawei to bring 4G services to the country. The National Telecommunications Administration  earlier issued CG a license to import bandwidth and offer network services.

Furthermore, after acquiring a license to conduct basic communications services, the corporation has already set its sights on aggressively supplying 5G services. The present data center and optical fiber network construction will also help it achieve its 5G ambition in the future. For the time being, they are primarily focused on providing Fiber to the Home (FTTH) services.

CG Telecom is now a Public Limited Company. As a result, it will make its portion available to the broader public. Its stock can be purchased privately through an initial public offering (IPO) or on the stock exchange. The private running firm will now be known as CG Communications Limited, according to the company’s General Manager, Mr. Madhusudan Poudel. Despite this, the company just finished all of the necessary processes to change its name from the registrar’s office.

CONCLUSION

If CG Telecom expands its Fiber Internet Service while maintaining its low rates, it will undoubtedly give other ISPs a run for their money. The situation will be identical to the one produced by Jio in India. However, it will immediately benefit all Nepalese by providing low-cost internet access and expanding job prospects.

CG Communications Ltd. is an information technology business owned by the Chaudhary Group. CG Communications Ltd. is dedicated to offering communications services based on the most cutting-edge technology available on the market. CGNET is CG Communications Ltd.’s initial foray into the realm of information technology in Nepal.
