This year’s TWS is the new OnePlus Buds Z, which is a cheaper version of the original OnePlus Buds. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus Buds Z’s specifications, features, projected pricing, and availability in Nepal.

Design and fit
Let’s start with the case, which is the first thing you’ll notice when you open the box. Plastic is used to make the case, and it is of excellent quality. The OnePlus logo is prominently displayed on the case’s top. A battery-level LED indicator is located on the front of the device. A Type-C port for charging and a pairing button is located on the back of the case. The Buds Z does not support wireless charging.
The case has a glossy surface that looks nice, however, it is easily scratched. So make sure you take care of it immediately. Despite having a stem, the OnePlus Buds Z are magnetically attached to the charging case vertically when the case is opened.
I would have preferred an Oppo W31-style case, but that isn’t a deal-breaker in any way. When compared to the Buds Z, the case footprint is quite modest. On the Buds Z casing, the one-handed opening is difficult but not impossible. The case is about 40 grams in weight.
The OnePlus earbuds are a pair of in-ear type earphones. This is a direct transition from the semi-in-ear or AirPods style. This is a huge bonus for most users, including me, because we can rotate different ear tips till we find the perfect fit. In addition to the one included in the box, the OnePlus Buds Z comes with two additional ear tips. The Buds Z earphones have a similar style to the OnePlus Bullet Wireless 2. They have a stem design with a microphone, an IC chip for wear sensing, and other electronics all packed into a 4.3-gram body.
Audio
While OnePlus is not a traditional audio company, its audio products, such as the OnePlus Bullet series wired and wireless earbuds, have been rather successful. The OnePlus Buds, the company’s first genuine wireless earphones, were not warmly welcomed by consumers and fans throughout the world because they were expensive and had poor audio quality. The OnePlus Buds Z attempts to compensate for the original Buds’ shortcomings, and they do so admirably.
Bluetooth 5.0 is used by the OnePlus Buds Z truly wireless earphones. They have 10mm dynamic drivers with bass increase, Dolby Atmos dynamic stereo, and panoramic sound support. A noise reduction technology has also been added by OnePlus, which helps to reduce outside noise during calls.
Pairing the OnePlus Buds Z is a breeze: As soon as you remove the Buds from the case, a pop-up appears on your Android device with a connect button, allowing you to pair them in one push. Manual pairing is required for iOS and some older Android phones. However, most phones should be able to use the Fast Pair feature owing to Google Fast Pair and OnePlus Quick Pair.
Microphone
The Buds Z also have a microphone built into each bud. I utilized the Buds Z to take phone calls, attend meetings, and stay in my room. The final product was extremely stunning. From my end, no one complained about the audio. Whatever I said was audible on the other side as well. OnePlus’ low-noise algorithms do an excellent job in this area. Even with a low voice, everything seems louder inside.
Battery
OnePlus promises a continuous audio playback time of 5 hours and a total battery life of 20 hours, including the cover. A 450mAh battery is included in the case. A Type-C port is located on the rear of the casing for charging the device. A short Type-C cable is also supplied in the box by OnePlus. It will take around an hour to charge the case. The Buds Z have a rather long battery life.
