The latest listing of the Asus Zephyrus G15 GA503QS has piqued the interest of laptop gamers. The laptop with AMD Ryzen 7 5800HS has been classified on Amazon China. The AMD Ryzen 7 5800HS will have 8 cores and 16 threads, according to the page. The processor’s turbo clock speed would be 3.0GHz. The buffer memory on this one will be 16MB as well.
Similarly, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q can accommodate the graphics. The Ampere-based graphics card for laptops is yet to be announced by NVIDIA. The 16GB GDDR6 VRAM is the feature that really stands out. However, since the specs sheet lists it as an 8GB card, it may be an error.
Weight and Design
The G15 isn’t as thin as the Razer Blade, but at 4.2 pounds, it’s also lighter than the 4.5-pound Razer Blade and any other 15-inch notebooks. With a robust magnesium-aluminum case and a distinctive dot-matrix pattern on the cover, it’s almost as amazing as the G14 in terms of construction. In our review machine, ASUS used a special prismatic material to cover those tiny gaps, but other versions would use a different material.
Hearing a symphony in flawless harmony is the game equivalent to having a high refresh rate and a screen that can seamlessly synchronize with the new frame rate.
The G15 doesn’t have the fastest 1,440p screen on the market (MSI’s GS66 will exceed 240Hz), but better options are still more expensive.
The G15 is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 9 5900HS processor, NVIDIA’s RTX 30-series GPUs, and an optional 1,440p (Quad HD) monitor with G-SYNC/FreeSync support that runs at 165Hz. It’s one of the first gaming laptops to feature AMD’s new hardware, which makes it a convincing purchase in and of itself.
